This lovely detailed bosun whistle actually works and is a great new addition to my vintage gadget collection.
The Bosun Whistle is one of the oldest pieces of nautical equipment. As far back as 1485 AD, it was used as an honored badge of rank and was worn by the Lord High Admiral of England and used as a method of passing orders.
The bosun whistle measures just over 80mm and is made with copper and brass. It has a little anchor stamping on both sides and is hung on a 27 inch solid brass chain. This comes without a clasp as it is long enough to go over your head.
I am now starting my interchangeable chain option where I use a vintage brass bullet clasp that allows you to take the pendant off the chain and swap for another pendant.
For a limited time only as the clasp is vintage.
I am also giving the option to buy the pendants separately so you can collect all your favourite pendants which also saves you money to buy more pendants!
